This approach is deliberate; the capacity for weight support significantly varies depending on the design and construction of your overall project, and the weight an individual table leg can support is mostly irrelevant.

Furthermore, we believe in prioritising the stability and quality-feel of your project.

Up To & Over 150kg

Full Table Frames are the strongest legs we make and are most suitable for the heaviest projects.

While we suggest anything over 150kg uses this type of base, we choose to these these in our own projects for anything over 100kg. The overall quality of feel you get with a full table frame is far superior to individually attached legs at these higher weights.

The Standard X-Frame Legs are not included in in the "Up to 150kg" category. Their geomety makes them slightly weaker and are listed below.

Up to 120kg

• Heavy Duty 3-Rod Hairpin Table Legs (12mm / 3-rod)
• Single Pin Round Table Height Legs
• Single Pin Square Table Height Legs
• Box Hairpin Table Height Legs

We sell many types of hairpin table legs including 10mm standard duty and 2-rod options. Only the 12mm / 3-rod version falls within this category.

Up to 60kg

• Standard Duty 3-Rod Hairpin Table Legs (10mm / 3-rod)
• Tapered Oak Table Height Legs

We sell many types of hairpin table legs including 2-rod options. Only the 10mm / 3-rod version falls within this category.

Up to 20kg

• 2-Rod Table Height Hairpin Legs

While 12mm is slightly stronger than 10mm, we only recommend 2-rod legs for the very smallest of projects. For decorative side tables the 10mm version will be fine. For very small desks up to 20kg then the 12mm versions might be suitable, however, we would always suggest choosing a 3-rod version for any table intended for work or dining.
