Strength & Stability: Table Legs (71cm)

Guidance on ensuring a 71cm table is safe, with a rock-solid, high-quality feel

Given weights assume a fully loaded table. Weights are for guidance only and are not reflective of the weight which a product might fail. This guide aims to ensure you end up with a high quality feeling project. If you are unsure how much your top might weigh, check out this guide:

Estimating the Weight of a Table Top

Up To & Over 150kg

Full Table Frames are the strongest legs we make and are most suitable for the heaviest projects.

While we suggest anything over 150kg uses this type of base, we choose to these these in our own projects for anything over 100kg. The overall quality of feel you get with a full table frame is far superior to individually attached legs at these higher weights.

Up to 150kg

Up to 120kg

Up to 60kg

Up to 20kg

While 12mm is slightly stronger than 10mm, we only recommend 2-rod legs for the very smallest of projects. For decorative side tables the 10mm version will be fine. For very small desks up to 20kg then the 12mm versions might be suitable, however, we would always suggest choosing a 3-rod version for any table intended for work or dining.
