## The Hairpin Leg Co. – Customer Policies at a Glance

### **Shipping**

* Free UK delivery on orders over £50.
* Same-day dispatch for orders placed before 2pm (Mon–Fri).
* UK Delivery Times: Mainland Next Day, Highlands & NI 2 Days, Channel Islands 2–3 Days.
* Weekend delivery available if selected at checkout.
* International Shipping:
  * EU: All taxes prepaid.
  * Non-EU: Customer pays duties/taxes.
  * Delivery times: 2–10 days depending on region (e.g. USA 2–7 days).
* Tracking info emailed when shipped.

### **Returns**

* 60-day return window for unused items.
* Free returns for UK mainland website orders using our labels.
* Fair usage limits:
  * Max 3 returns in 30 days.
  * Not applicable to clearance items, heavy/bulk orders, low-value orders (<£15), or orders over £1000.
* Return process:
  * Request RMA via email.
  * Return in original packaging.
  * Customer covers cost if outside free return policy.

### **Damaged Items**

* Report within 7 days of delivery with photos.
* We’ll replace or resolve swiftly.
* Must be returned in original packaging.

### **Guarantees**

* 5-Year Indoor Guarantee:
  * Covers defects in residential indoor use.
  * Commercial/outdoor use not covered unless otherwise stated.
* 2-Year Outdoor Guarantee (for eligible products):
  * Residential use only.
  * Non-coastal areas (5+ miles inland).
  * Requires care: touch up chips, use on solid surfaces, and cover in winter.
  * Light rust in harsh conditions is normal but not typically structural.

### **Outdoor Use Policy**

* Only zinc and stainless steel legs are rated for outdoor use.
* Painted/coated mild steel legs are residential-grade, not guaranteed in coastal or commercial settings.

### **Assembly & Materials**

* No returns on assembled desks or used items.
* Raw steel legs may rust naturally—this is expected and not a fault.
* Protective coating provided; maintenance required if left unpainted.
