At The Hairpin Leg Co., we do not specify absolute weight ratings for our products. This approach is deliberate; the capacity for weight support significantly varies depending on the design and construction of your overall project, and the weight an individual table leg can support is mostly irrelevant.

Furthermore, we believe in prioritising the stability and quality-feel of your project.

Given weights assume a fully loaded table. Weights are for guidance only and are not reflective of the weight which a product might fail. This guide aims to ensure you end up with a high quality feeling project. If you are unsure how much your top might weigh, check out this guide:

Up To & Over 120kg

While we suggest anything over 120kg uses this type of base, we use these in our own projects for anything over 80kg. The overall quality of feel you get with a full table frame is far superior to individually attached legs at these higher weights.
